One wayfinding system for a museum with three entrances.

A single set of signs, colours and numbers that works from every door, and that staff can extend without calling a designer.

Concrete building with a geometric green facade

Visitors arrived through three doors and each door had grown its own signs over thirty years. The museum wanted one system before the new wing opened.

What I did

I walked the building with a clipboard, noting every place someone paused. Then I drew one grammar: numbers for rooms, colour for wings, one arrow, one typeface.

What changed

Staff stopped being asked where the toilets are. The signs can be extended with a template and a printer.
